Chapter activities
The Belgium Chapter of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association is a not-for-profit association established in Belgium. It counts more than 600 members.
The Chapter organises various activities to members and non-members. Fee-free activities include Round table meetings and Information Security Forum activities. Chapter education includes bi-annual training sessions to prepare for the CISA or the CISM exam.
Consult our agenda. The calendar is regularly updated. More than 20 educational activities are organised on a yearly basis (incl. activities with other organisations).
The Belgium Chapter is one of the largest Chapters in Europe. Chapter members are active in International research activity (Cobit), International Task forces (CISM, IT Governance) and get regularly involved in local standardisation effort. Chapter members lecture for the Master Degree in Computer Auditing delivered by the University of Antwerp Management School. They also lecture for the Postgraduate Degree in ICT Audit & Security at Solvay Business School (in partnership with Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the Université catholique de Louvain).

President's letter
Dear ISACA Belgium member,
On behalf of the ISACA Belgium Board, I wish you a happy new year and a prosperous professional activity. We are looking for another year of ISACA activity in Belgium.
In line with the new ISACA Strategy that shall be presented to you at our next meeting (Saturday January 16th) by "our" International Vice President, Georges Ataya, the Belgian Chapter has planned continuous education, partnership with events organized by other organizations and the regular certification boot camps.
The Chapter board is composed of volunteers who continue to dedicate time and effort for the growth of the Chapter and for the success of ISACA members in their professional activities. ISACA offers outstanding publications free to members, education opportunities and international events and webinars. We invite you to participate actively in gaining the knowledge that is delivered and in sharing the knowledge that you personally possess.
Your knowledge, ideas, and even active involvement in the Chapter activity is welcomed. We invite you to join the numerous volunteers who in one way or another participate in making the ISACA Belgium chapter one of the largest in Europe (at least one of the highest density chapters compared to the country population). Many volunteers from our Chapter have displayed their excellence in participating on the international level, by participating in international task forces and committees and in reviewing or participating in the development of outstanding publications.
